Accessing Moodle


Mac users -- be sure to use Firefox (in Applications folder) – do not use Safari.

• Go to the following URL: http://moodle.lmsd.org (no "www").
• Click on the small blue Login prompt near the upper right corner of the window.
• Enter your LMSD Network account username and password.


Post your End-of-Day Reflection Responses
• Under Course categories on the left, click the first one listed -- "High School Classrooms for the Future."
• In the next screen, click "Using 21st Century Skills and Project-Based Learning in Classrooms for the Future" on the left.
• Select the 2nd discussion topic, “Nov. 6 Reflection 1.”
• in the next screen. Click "Discuss this topic" underneath.
• Then click "Reply" in the next screen.
• Write a brief response to the prompt.
• When finished change Subscription setting to “I don’t want email copies.”
• Click the “Post to forum” button.”
• You have 30 minutes to go back and edit your response, if needed.

• After completing the first reflection, select the 3rd discussion topic, “Nov. 6 Reflection 2.”
• In the next screen, click “Discuss this topic” underneath.
• Then click “Reply” in the next screen.
Write a brief response to the prompt.

• Click the “Post to forum” button.”
• You have 30 minutes to go back and edit your response, if needed.

You are invited and encouraged to return to the Moodle forum to see the other responses as they are posted. This discussion space will remain open throughout the year so you can return at any time.


Reflection 1 Prompt:
• What did you learn today about 21st Century Skills, Project-Based Learning, and Technology in Classrooms for the Future? What are you taking away with you?

Reflection 2 Prompt:
• What are your initial ideas for incorporating project-based learning and 21st Century skills in your classroom? These initial ideas will be available to all teachers as you determine your small working groups to continue your work during the November 22nd half day.
